We Need Your Help
Since December 2002, we've supported HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of deployed U.S. troops with loving care packages and letters from all over the nation. This was made possible only with the help of tens of thousands of generous and patriotic friends in the U.S. and abroad. This is the least we can do to show our troops how much we care about them. Our troops need to know that we support and appreciate the sacrifices they make for us, our families, and our future. This is about giving back to those who give all Each $10 donation sends a MISTER to a U.S. Soldier in or on the way to the Middle East.It is AMAZINGLY HOT in the Middle East both day and night. These Misters can bring much needed relief to our soldiers.It's never comforting to hear our soldiers are suffering and dying because of the heat. In a recent article by Edward Wyatt of The New York Times, he writes of the deaths of several men. One in perticular, Sgt. Floyed G. Knighten Jr., age 55, "serving in Kuwait in the same unit as his 21-year-old son, died of heat stroke while driving a Humvee without air-conditioning across the scorching Iraqi desert."It's our hope that we can help eliminate this type of tragedy by giving our soldiers misters that can reduce temperatures by as much as 30 degrees.Next time you jump in your pool, turn on the A/C in your car or house, or go to an air conditioned mall, take a moment to think about our oldiers who don't have those options to take refuge from the heat.
